Part 3/3This is how Citibank treat the royal customer? I think I can give back both cards to Citibank. It is really embarrassing when intend to use the card and was told the card was not honor and without any prior notice was given. Please reply with an explanation and please do cancel the Amex card that I never activated. It is wrong to force the customer to purchase something the customer do not like.

This week, date 28th of January 2015 and one February 2015, when I want to used the Citibank Cash Back card, the authorization was declined. There has been no pre-alert from the Citi Bank to me. When I called to find out, only I was told that both card was blocked by Credit Department. I have been an active users and I paid of my usage on time. Due to an Amex card which I have never activated and intended to canceled, for the RM50 Government Service Charge, both of my cards got blocked without any prior notices.

I owned a Citi Bank Platinum Cash Back and has been an active users for the past four years. At Nov 2014, Citi bank Tele sales introduce to another offer which the initial communication was to combine with my current card and provide the flexi miles advantage. I accept via phone. The end product that came to me was another Amex Card which I do not need and I never like Amex due to it's inflexibility. I never activate the card,, but I called a few times to cancel the card,, but the sales never want to help me to cancel. The government service charge was charged.
