Interactive learning is augmented by a variety of teaching methods combining the traditional lecture with seminars. The GH Raisoni Institute of Interdisciplinary Sciences – GHRIDS Nagpur possesses the most modern infrastructure which fulfils all possible needs of the subjects. The Infrastructure ensures that students get hands on training with most modern equipments and methods that they will use in the industry and R&D. The labs are well equipped with all state of the art equipment for Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Environmental Sciences and Plant Tissue Culture. The Cyber Lab of the institute is equipped with 40 computers with 24 hours internet connectivity. Bioinformatics software is also available in the laboratory.
The GH Raisoni Institute of Interdisciplinary Sciences – GHRIDS Nagpur rich library is stocked with books, Journals (National, International) & CD-ROMs which provide research as well as course material. The Institutes buses make several trips between the campus & main points of the city for the students to reach the campus on time. Hostel facility is available at reasonable rates for outstation students. The Raisoni Group of Institutions has two hostels for boys & four hostels for girls, which are hired by the group, and provide safe accommodation and food.
In Addition to various teaching departments, GH Raisoni Institute of Interdisciplinary Sciences – GHRIDS Nagpur has a separate Training & Placement cell which is working directly under main Training and Placement department of Raisoni Group of Institutions. This plays major role in providing training opportunities to the students for having hands-on experience and knowledge on various cutting edge technologies which are very routinely used in various leading Research & Development Organizations, so that they gain sufficient competence for industrial assignments. Biotech students have been placed for training in various CSIR, ICAR & NEERI labs.
