To whom it may concern. I have a 2013 Hyundai Sante Fe that the backup camera has stopped working on. The camera was replaced by my Hyundai dealer once previously. I am now being told that the camera has an internal short, but is no longer covered under warranty. Obviously the camera was replaced with another defective part while still under warranty. Had the repair been done properly the camera would still be operational. The service department claims they have never seen this problem before, yet the internet is full of people complaining of the same problem. This is the second Sante Fe I have owned new from Hyundai. I also purchased a new Accent as well. Until now I have been very happy with Hyundai service and warranty. I would like to continue driving Hyundai if I know the company will stand behind their vehicles, especially on a known problem. Sincerally Greg Elines .

I own a 2011 Hyundai sonata limited since new, the car has had regular maintenance and has never been driven in the winter, so it has been parked three to four months a year, the car only has 53000km on it. I am a red seal technician and have worked in the field for over 35 years I now tech auto mechanics at Thompson rivers university in Kamloops BC. My car engine started to knock then stopped while driving on a busy highway I was lucky and was able to pull over safely. The car was towed $200. 00 the dealer ship looked at it and sent the info to Hyundai. I was told that Hyundai will cover the short block only I will have to pay for the fluids to do the job, ed during winter in a they will transfer all parts. And I have no warranty on this engine. This is wrong in my opinion a car that blows up at 53000 I now have no car as you will not pay for a car rental either. I would expect that Hyundai would pay for towing, car rental and warranty the engine.

I have a 2012 Elantra, I take excellent care of it and i am the only driver. While washing my car I noticed rust on the trunk where the lights are for the license plate, I was shocked, . Took it to the dealer, they took pics and was supposed to get back to me, they haven't. I've sent messages to Hyundaicanada, still no response. I am totally disillusioned by this service. NO more Hyundais for me.

In 2009 I bought a brand new Sante Fe 3. 3L. The warranty has just expired, it only has 73, 817 KilometresYet the fuel gauge is reading empty with a full tank of gas and the check engine light stays on. I've replaced gas caps, which worked for just a day or two. This will be a costly repair for me, as I am on a fixed income. I am a retired person with a disabled wife and we had put our faith and money into a product that we felt would last and not cause us problems. Now it seems we may have made a mistake. It appears I am not alone with regards to the fuel sensor problem. I think if you want to keep your car company's reputation for good quality and customer service, you should do something about this problem. Issue a recall and compensate those of us who had to pay for a defect out of our pockets. 73, 000 kilometers is not a lot of wear and tear and I had all the service dates done at my local dealership where we bought the car.

Brought car into local dealership because car wouldn't start in park, had to use shift lock override to place into gear. Problem is with neutral safety switch/ linkage corrosion. Dealer stated " if problem reoccurs transmission will need to be replaced". If you have no other issues than what I mentioned above, your transmission is perfectly fine. Hyundai dealer very dishonest. Will never go to again. Hyundai Canada was no help in thisand backed up dealer.
