Sri Kandhan College of Arts and Science – Erode is a Co-educational Institution promoted by Sri Kandhan Educational Trust, Bhavani. This College blossomed to impart Higher Education to the rural and urban youths in and around Namakkal, Erode & Salem Districts which are industrially and commercially vibrant. In fact the inception of this Institution was an ambition of Late. Sri. A. Gopalsamy Mudaliyar, the First Chairman of the Trust and Founder of this centre of higher learning.
Sri Kandhan College of Arts and Science – Erode started functioning from 2000-2001 with five UG courses of Job-oriented nature – viz B.Sc. Computer Science, B.C.A., B.B.A., B.B.M., and B.Com. Now our college has 13 U.G. and 8 P.G. Courses.
Sri Kandhan College of Arts and Science – Erode is situated at sowthapuram just 12 Kms from Erode along Erode-Salem Highway and is functioning in a permanent building approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The college admits students irrespective of their caste and creed. Sri Kandhan College of Arts and Science – Erode library has a good collection of Books, Journals, Periodical and Dailies, There are over 15000 volumes, and Latest titles are regularly added. Library is kept open from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm on all working days. We provide updated collection of CDs and Reference Books.
Hostels for Boys and Girls are functioning with good surrounding within Sri Kandhan College of Arts and Science – Erode Campus. Healthy and Hygienic food is being provided.
