May 17 bought 2017 Impreza top of the line for all all the safety features. 2) May 28 th, display locked. The next day when I started the car the display was working again. 3) May 30th. Ii took it into Willowdale Subaru. They rebooted it and said it was fixed. 4) I left and drove to Vaughn Mills Mall and when I left the camera was not functioning. BUT after supper it started working again. May 31 St. Took it back and same story. June 20th. About 4. 00 pm the back up camera stopped working
I almost had an accident backing UP
I called service explained the problem and they said best they could do was Friday morning@ 8. 00 am. Being upset I spoke to Mr. Afshin (Sales Manager) and explained the situation and told him t I bought a car for safety that it didn't deliver. He said he would look into it. I told him I didn't want a band aid fix. If he couldn't fix the car then they should replace it. Both Willowdale Subaru and now Head office are aware of the problem.

Ms. Sandra Fox On Phone To Subaru Canada Service
I bought a Crosstrek in 2013. In 2015 the dealership said I needed new rear brake rotors and pads, so they were changed at 23, 000 km. This week while travelling back to Sudbury from Ottawa my brakes were making a loud noise, so I had to stop in North Bay at the dealership and they told me my rear brakes and pads and my front brakes as well needed to be done. The mileage at this point was at 45, 200 km. And it is less than two years since the rear brakes had been changed. So they fixed the brakes. The person helping me said that my brakes should last for 60, 000 km. So my issue is that at 45, 000 km. I have had to have two brake jobs. I am not happy with what has happened. I want to know if this is a problem with the actual parts or the vehicle- I do not want to be spending all this money every two years.

Mr. Don Miller On Phone To Subaru Canada Service
Good morning,

Does it compromise the warranty status on my 2015 Subaru Forester if I perform the routine service work on the vehicle myself? Compared with the our Pontiac domestic vehicle which we can have serviced locally, the dealer charges for the servicing of Subaru vehicles cost is exotic. Excluding the A' service if you discount the cost of time and distance to get to them. I am a UK qualified vehicle mechanic and hold City and Guilds of London Part I and II trade journeyman credentials in Motor Vehicle Technology. I went on to become Transport Canada licensed (60887i) Marine Engineer (Motor.) These days I own and operate two marine service companies: one a Yanmar Marine Diesel engine franchise (www. Knotbuoysmarine.com) and the other a Marine Surveying and Investigations company.
