Swami Satyanand College of Management and Technology - SSCMT Amritsar has been established by S.N. Joshi Memorial Charitable Trust (Regd.) to provide quality technical education in the fields of Computer Applications, Business Administration, Hotel Management, Tourism Management and Biotechnology. This college is affiliated to Punjab Technical University which was set up by Punjab Govt. exclusively for the promotion and regulation of technical education in Punjab. For the last two years, the college has been providing education at graduate level in these streams. Encouraged by the response from the society and to meet the needs of the time, Post graduate classes are being started in various streams with effect from this year, namely, M.B.A, M.Sc. (IT), MSc. (Airlines and Tourism Management). With the past experience and expertise gained over time, the administration and the staff are committed to do full justice to meet the needs of these challenging professions.

READER'S PARADISE is a library which provides reading services to its members. In other words, college library is an open source of information for the students where they can spend their valuable time to improve their level of knowledge. Swami Satyanand College of Management and Technology - SSCMT Amritsar Library has a collection of over 2000 published works including Books, Encyclopedias, Reports, Journals, Magazines, related to computers Science and Management. Books related to curriculum as well as general topics are provided, with focus on all round personality development of the students. The Library has computer search system to assist the students in locating their information sources.
Canteen facility is also being provided by Swami Satyanand College of Management and Technology - SSCMT Amritsar where eatables like soft drinks, coffee, snacks, & tee is available for the students and staff. Proper attention to hygiene and cleanliness is paid while serving and catering. To accommodate the students belonging to remote areas, separate hostel facility is also available in the college campus.
Swami Satyanand College of Management and Technology - SSCMT Amritsar organized Sports Meet on January 22, 2011 in the Campus. Principal Dr. Suresh Seth commenced the meet. Mr. Sandeep Singh (Head of Sports Committee) Organized & handled the sports meet with active participation. Dr. Suresh Seth presented the trophies to winners & motivated the students to play games. The students as well as faculty members enjoyed the sports meet. Sumit Kumar won the competition of chess, Supreet Singh was winner in Badminton & Table Tennis, While team C comprising Kanishak, Palash, Ritesh, Santosh, Sumesh, Dilbagh & Vishal bagged the trophy in Volleyball.
Co-curricular activities are organized in Swami Satyanand College of Management and Technology - SSCMT Amritsar campus by CCA Committee, which provide a platform to the students to express their ideas and to explore their hidden talent through various cultural activities. The committee is managed by the students under the able guidance of experienced faculty. The committee has already organized many events in the campus to develop the overall personality of the students. Keeping in view the requirement of bringing out the creativity and cognitive power of the students various activities like Quiz, Group Dance, Skit, Painting, Flower arrangement etc. are organized regularly in the college.
