Anoop Jacob is a son of the T. M. Jacob and leader of the
Kerala Congress (Jacob). He is also a member of Kerala
Legislative Assembly and represents Piravom Constituency.
Anoop Jacob was chosen in March 2012 which was essential because of the demise of minister T.M Jacob, incumbent of the constituency and his father. He has completed his law from
the Kerala Law Academy and practiced as a lawyer at the Kerala High Court. He also has a bachelor degree in English Literature which he acquired from
Mar Ivanios College in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. In 2002, Anoop married with his girlfriend Anila, has two children and lived in Trivandrum.
