Her mother is Chandana Chakraborty and her father is a famous Indian Classical singer Ajoy Chakraborty. She was studied at Patha Bhavan School, Kolkata and she graduated from
Jogamaya Devi College affiliated to University of Calcutta. She started learning classical music at
Pandit Jnan Prakash Ghosh academy. After completing it she had joined
