Karan Thapar is an Indian Television interviewer, commentator and News Anchor. He was born on November 5, 1955 in Srinagar,
Jammu and Kashmir, India. He did his schooling from The
Doon School and the Stowe School. He did his graduation in year 1977 from the Pembroke College,
Cambridge in Economics and Political Philosophy. He obtained a doctorate from
St. Antony’s College,
Oxford in International Relations. He started his Journalism career in the year 1985 with The Times in Lagos, Nigeria. He is the owner and president of the production house Infotainment Television which was started in year 2001.
