Kalinga is located in Cordillera area of Luzon territory. Kalinga State was formed on 14 Feb 1995, due to partition of Kalinga-Apayao area. Kalinga State consist rivers,Grasslands,Mountains,Rainforests and Farm Lands. Kalinga is expanded into 7 subdivisions with
Capital City Tabuk. The average temperature remains 17 to 22°C but state witness heavy rainfall through out the year. Apart from Kalinga,Tagalog,Kankana,Ilocanos,Ibontoc and Applai are the native tribes of Kalinga.
