Congress party. He started his political career in 1980 from Chhindwara Constituency as member of
Lok Sabha. Nath achieve his graduate degree from
St Xaviers College. He holds various positions with Govt. of India such as Minister of Environment,Minister of Textile,Cabinet Minister of Commerce & Industry and minister of Urban Development. Nath Became in news when his name was linked with anti-Sikh riots in 1984.
