The Relay for Life is a community of American Cancer Society. This community is based on fundraising event for Cancer Society. The Relay for life organization is run World Wide in twenty countries. The Organization was started in May 1985 by Dr.
Gordon Klatt. He was a colorectal surgeon from
Washington and he started the Relay for Life to raise money for American Cancer Society. He first starts the relay by walking for 24 hours around the track at
Baker Stadium of University of Puget Sound in Tacama, Washington. He collect $25 to run or walk for 30 minutes with him.
