La Masia which is also known as
La Masia de Can Planes was established by the owner
Fc Barcelona’s to attain football training facilities, resides near
Camp Nou in the Les Courts region of Barcelona. The La Masia also represents the youth academy by carrying more than 300 players which have accomplished record breaking honours in the history of sports. La Masia was known as the famous old Farmhouse which was built in 1702. In the year of 1902, it was initially used by the club to provide house to the players of football who live outside the Barcelona. The whole idea was intended by the Johan Cruyff to Nunez.
