Lynn C. Woolsey is a member of the Democratic Party, served as the
U.s Representative for California's 6th congressional district from 1993 to 2013. She represented the Marin County as a whole and part of Sonoma County. She had co- chaired the Congressional Progressive Caucus from 2010 to 2013. Woolsey described herself as the "welfare mother in Congress". She along with Gwen Moore was the first Congresswomen who had the
