Louis Leipoldt was born on 28th December, 1880 are recognized as the illustrious South African poet, who wrote several famous poems in the Afrikaans language. The popular artist was born in Worcester of the
Cape Province. He was one of the prominent personalities in the
World of poems in the second Afrikaans Movement. Besides writing African poems, he has also interested in writing novels, acts, stories, kid’s books, food related books and travel diaries. Because of its superior talent, he was became the greatest Afrikaner poets and later depicted as D.J Opperman. He was died on 12th April 1947.
