The Scout Sniper basic Course is known as one of the toughest schools in the Marine Corps. The
Marine Corps School has four different houses. The schools are:
School of Infantry (West), Marine Corps Base
Camp Pendleton, California,
Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Marine Corps Base Quantico,
Virginia and Marine Corps Base Hawaai. The most challenging school among these is the Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia. The Scout Sniper Basic Course is a 12 1/2 week course and is now known as the Scout Sniper Course. The training course includes nine weeks of shooting qualifications and then field training.
