Mahlamba Ndlopfu is the official residence for the president of South Africa. It is located in the Bryntirion, Pretoria, South Africa. The house was established in year 1940 as the official residence for the
Prime Minister of South Africa. It is built in a traditional
Cape Dutch Style and was designed by the Architect
Gerard Moerdijk. The Mahlamba Ndlopfu was formerly known as the Libertas and the name was changed in year 1995. After the elimination of the post of Prime Minister in year 1984 it was changed into Presidents residence. The whole residence is surrounded by beautiful and well-maintained gardens.
