Nicholas
Berkeley “Nick” Mason is an English musician, composer, drummer and author. He was born on January 27, 1944 in the Edgbaston, Birmingham, England. He is famous as the drummer of the Pink Floyd. The band was formed in the year 1965 and is the only constant member of the band. He did his schooling from the Frensham Heights School and studied at
the Regent Street Polytechnic. He also received honorary Doctor of Letters from the
University of Westminster on November 26, 2012. He has performed in various concerts to raise the money for
Countryside Alliance and also performed in the closing ceremony of Olympic Games 2012.
