The
 Mary Surratt’s Boarding House was the site of meeting between conspirators to kidnap and assassinate the president of United States, Abraham Lincoln. It is located in the Washington D.C,
 United States and was established in the year 1843. The building three-and-one-half storey’s tall and the Architectural style is Early Republic or
 Federal style. The building was constructed by the Jonathan T. Walker. The building was used as a boarding house from September 1864 to April 1865 by the Mary Surratt who was later executed by hanging. On August 11, 2009 the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
