Kim Jong-il was a member of the workers party of Korea and supreme leader of the democratic
Peoples republic of Korea. He was born on 16 February 1941 in Vyatskoye, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union and died on 17 December 2011 in Pyongyang, Korea.
Kim studied from Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and graduated from Kim Il-sung University. After graduation, he began his career as a politician. He had served as the vice chairman of the
