Shekhar Kamulla is an Indian film director, producer and screen
Director in Telugu Cinema. He was born on February 4, 1972 in Hyderabad,
Andhra Pradesh, India. He did his schooling from
St. Patrick’s High School, Secunderabad. He did intermediate studies from St. Alphonsa’s and did his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chaitanya
Bharathi Institute of Technology. He also did a graduate degree in Computer Science at New Jersey,
United States of America. He also enrolled in the MFA Program at Howard University,
Washington D.C after a brief stint in the IT Industry. His first film was Dollar
Dreams for which he also won a National Film Award for best debutant director. He has also won six
Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Awards.
