Singapore came into an existence in September 2003. During the recession time in early 2000s, the WDA had helped the workforce to maintain the momentum by providing them with training and upgrading their skills. WDA has expanded
Cet infrastructure by starting five career centres. The forty Continuing Education and Training centres offer quality training and related career services. They also formed a structure of training for National Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications that covers 30 industries. Industry skills frameworks cover the industries from floristry to aerospace.
Institute of Adult Learning was set up to deepen the expertise and enhance overall professionalism of the workforce.
