Allu Aravind is an Indian film producer. He was born on January 10, 1949. Allu Aravind is also a distributor in Tollywood (Telugu cinema) and a political candidate. He is the son of Allu Rama Lingaiah who was an Indian Telugu language comedian. Allu Aravind produces films under his production company Geetha Arts, established in 1972. The various films that Allu Aravind has produced include Subhalekha (1982), Hero (1984), Pasivadi Pranam (1987), Athaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu (1989), Calcutta Mail (2003), Magadheera (2009), Badrinath (2011) etc. Allu Aravind was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Film – Telugu for the movie Magadheera in 2010
