Anders Fogh Rasmussen is a well known politician based in Denmark. He was elected as the 12th Secretary General of NATO in the year 2009 and assumed office on 1 August 2009. Aanders Fogh Rasmussen was born in Ginnerup, Denmark on 26 January 1953. He is associated with "Venstre" political party. Anders Fogh Rasmussen also served as the Member of Parliament from 1 October 1978 – 5 April 2009. Prior to that he was elected as the Minister of Tax and served the country from 10 September 1987 – 19 November 1992. He pursued his education from Aarhus University and earned a Master's degree in Economics from the university. He got married to Anne-Mette Rasmussen in the year 1978 and has three children.
