Ardeshir Cowasjee was a Pakistani journalist and businessman. He was born on 13 April 1926 in Karachi, Bombay Presidency, British India and died at the age of 86 in Karachi, Pakistan. Ardeshir Cowasjee served as the columnist of a Pakistani English newspaper, Dawn and was also a social activist. He also served as the Chairman of Cowasjee Group. Ardeshir Cowasjee Centre for Writing at IBA, Karachi has been established in his honor.
