Babatunde Raji Fashola is a Nigerian politician. He is the 13th Governor of Lagos State, Nigeria. He was sworn in as the governor on May 29, 2007 and was reelected in 2011. Babatunde Fashola has also served as the member of the State Tenders Board 2002- 2006, member of the State Security Council2002-2006 and member of the State Treasury Board 2002-2006. Babatunde Raji Fashola is the member of various national and international organizations including Nigerian Bar Association. He received LL.B.(Hon), degree from University of Benin in 1987 and is affiliated with All Progressives Congress party.
