John Brian Atwood is a senior U.S diplomat born in July 1942. He is a former Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Brian Atwood has also served as the dean of the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota from 2002 to 2010. He is an alumnus of Boston University and American University. Brian Atwood has also been serving as the Chair of the Development Assistance Committee at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development since 2010.
