Nisar Ali Khan was appointed as interior minister of Pakistan in 2013. He is also a member of Pakistan national Assembly. Khan has also served as minister of science and technology, Minister of Petroleum, Natural Resources, Ministry of Communication and Ministry of Food and Livestock. Nisar Ali Khan has been also associated with Pakistan Muslim League-Functional and Islamic Democratic Alliance.
