Dharam Dev Pishorimal Anand was an Indian Cinema legend. He was born on 26 September 1923 in Shakargarh, in Punjab, Pakistan and died at the age of 88 in London, England. Dev Anand was an Actor, producer, director and the co-founder of Navketan Films (1949). Dev Anand made his Bollywood debut in Prabhat Films' Hum Ek Hain (1946) and starred in numerous other movies after that. He also produced movies like Guide (1965), Jewel Thief (1967), Mr Prime Minister (2005) etc. Dev Anand won awards like Best Actor (1959), Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award (1991), ANR National Award (2006) and many more.
