AdapTV is a television network aimed at the mobility impaired, hearing impaired and visually impaired individuals. The network was initially launched as a network of low power broadcasting stations (LPTV) that all carried the same programming. AdapTV sold or closed down most of its LPTV stations in 2011 in order to concentrate on a national cable television launch. AdapTV began broadcasting in cable markets nationwide in mid 2012. AdapTV programming comprises of a wide range of general entertainment networks and broadcast channels for the general viewing community. Some of the programs featured on AdaptTV include Deaflympics, Wheelchair racing, Miss Deaf America, films, cartoons, educational series and more.
