Wasim Akram is a former cricketer of Pakistan. He was born on 3 June 1966 in Lahore, Pakistan. Wasim Akram made test debut against New Zealand on 25 January 1985. He has served as the captain of the national test and ODI teams of Pakistan. He was an All-Rounder and is also known as Sultan of Swing and King of Swing. Wasim Akram has also served as the bowling coach and mentor of Kolkata Night Riders and is the first bowler to have taken over 400 wickets in both forms of game viz ODI's and Tests.
