The Balasore School of Engineering – BSE Balasore was established in the year 1998 by the persistent effort of Balasore Technical Education Society, Balasore to fulfill the hope and aspirations of the people of Balasore in the field of Technical Education.The institution is affiliated to SCTE & VT.Orissa,BBSR and is approved by AICTE, NEW DELHI & Govt of Orissa. At present Balasore School of Engineering – BSE Balasore is running Diploma Engineering, Programme in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering Computer SC. & Engineering, Electronic Engineering and Applied Electronics & instrumentation Engineering. The institute is committed to provide high quality education with emphasis on adequate training & field experience.
Balasore Technical Education Society, Balasore is a registered society established in the year 1996 vie registration no-BLS.5726-90 under the society registration Act -1960.It is well experienced body in the field of management of technical education and non technical education .The society has been managing Balasore School of Engineering – BSE Balasore , Balasore since 1998 after getting necessary approval from the AICTE vide approval no 752/32/014/ (NDIP) ET/97 date 03/09/98. It is started with three branches i.e Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science & Engineering with an intake capacity of 40 each. With continuous up gradation & development of facilities ,the institution has created a mile stone in the field of technical education with five branches i.e Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics& Telecommunication Engineering ,Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering having total intake capacity of 420.

The Balasore School of Engineering – BSE Balasore has a spcious building meant for library .The Library is well stocked with all types of text books and reference books as prescribed by the State Council to serve the needs of our Faculty and student.All students are given books on all subjects for the complete semester .A separate reading room is designed adjacent to the library so that the student utilise their spare time by referring to the journals and magazines and newspaper etc.
