Darjeeling Polytechnic, also known as the BCREC, is one of the best and elite engineering and management education institute in the eastern India. It was established in the year 2000 by the renowned Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College Society to pay tribute to legendary and visionary, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. Located atop of calm and serene hamlet of Kurseong in the Darjeeling the institute has came a long way in the field of delivering excellent management and engineering institute. The sole purpose of establishing BCREC was to meet the growing demand of qualified engineers in the different fields of engineering.
Darjeeling Polytechnic offers several engineering courses to the young students of the country which include Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering (NBA Accredited), Computer Science & Engineering (NBA Accredited), Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech and M.C.A. all these course wares are being formulated by WBUT and are as per the international norms and standards.
