Jeyasekharan Medical Trust School of Nursing – Nagercoil has well-established hostels for both male and female students, each student have a cot, a table, a chair, a cupboard and clothes rack were provided. Warden maintains homely care and yet maintains the discipline. The male and female hostels have separate recreation facilities. Articles available in the recreation room in men’s hostel are Television, Shuttle bat, shuttle net, shuttle cock, carom board carom board, dumb bells, snakes and ladder and in women’s hostel are Television, Shuttle bat, shuttle net, shuttle cock, carom board, Ludo, Snake and ladder, skipping rope, Tennicoit ring, Chinese checkers and have furnitures like Desk, Plastic Charis, Stool, etc. The mess is well furnished with modern facilities, clean and spacious to provide hygienic and balanced diet for the students. After the students have completed the course, they are employed as staff nurses for an internship period of 2 years. After this period is over, they are mostly employed in big hospitals and abroad.
