I am looking for a Jotul F100 BBE (Blue Black Enamel) in the USA from a local Texas (Dallas) Jotul distributor, but can only find the the Jotul F100 QT Nordic in black paint. Please direct me to a Jotul distributor that I can purchase the F100 BBE. Sonny from Denton, Texas.
I have a Jotul firelight DV propane stove (since 2000)and it loudly "roars" when it starts and does not stop. I turn it off wait one minute then turn it on and when it starts it does not roar. I have been adjusting the air shutter beginning at 1/2" gap and and slightly decreasing/increasing the gap by 1/16" per the manual -, but I cannot get the roaring to stop. Please provide a method for permanently fixing this problem. Thank you,
John Wayand .
To whom it may concern. I have a Jotul 105. The problem? The top baffle which has had a design upgrade, but is dangerous. Today, New Years Day 2018 this stove nearly caused a fire at my address, Shrewsbury in the UK when the top baffle fell into a burning fire - pouring smoke and heat into the house. I had, using fire gloves and at some considerable personal danger, to carry burning fuel from the fire outside so I could try and and re-positon the top baffle. Smoke poured into the house and my wife took our four year old daughter outside. The top baffle was red hot However it eventually the top baffle snapped in two and we threw water onto the remaining fire. This fire is currently redundant. Peter.
My Jotul GF 370 DV 11 is about one year old and was installed by a professional. It operated well all last fall and winter, and I did not use it much last summer. However, now that weather is getting colder, I've tried to begin using the fireplace again. I verified that the remote transmitter is still in CPI mode, the fireplace IFC burner switch and CPI switch are still on, but the fireplace will not operate properly. The pilot flame usually appears when I power the remote transmitter, but typically goes out after burning perhaps one to two minutes without igniting the burners, although occasionally the burners will light for a couple of seconds and then extinguish. I have noticed the IFC sensor light will remain dark while the stove is trying to light, but will turn red when the pilot flame dies out and the burners do not ignite. Can you advise me on any different procedure to follow, or anything else I should check?.

I recently purchased a GF 370 DV II. The stove worked properly for about eight weeks and then suddenly stopped. 1. It was converted to Propane by the dealer
3. The flue is about 18' vertical and 10' horizontal with three 45 elbows. 7. A few days ago, when I used the remote to start the fire, there was a immediate ignition of flame and then it shut off within two seconds. This happened again and again and has not started since. The pilot light (when it does light) is much smaller than the manual recommends - perhaps a half inch. When I try to adjust this, the pilot light does not respond. Finally, after each failed attempt, there is a red blinking light on the IFC. What does that indicate?.

Where can I order a replacement Multifunction Remote part number 157495 for my GF 300 DV IPI Allagash.
I've been a raving fan of Jotul's stoves for many years But unfortunately their support here in America is less than ideal. They make great products, but if your new stove gets damaged in shipping, you might as well hang it up. We'd like to use this stove this year. When we ordered it in early December, Jotul told us they'd have us one by mid January - yep six weeks And then it arrive having broken loose in its crate with several damaged parts. Now they need receipts, serial numbers. I'm sure the Norwegians would be appalled at this red tape. I guess I should have thought about buying a foreign made stove back in July if I'd wanted it this year.
