Kanchi Shri Krishna College of Arts and Science - Kanchipuram was started in the year 1994 by Kanchi Krishna Educational Trust for the promotion of higher education in the backward area of Kanchipuram Taluk. Started as Under Graduate College, affiliated to the University of Madras, it has steady growth and now it stands as Post-Graduate College offering Ten Programmes in UG and Five Programmes in PG. The vision and mission of Kanchi Shri Krishna College of Arts and Science - Kanchipuram as enshrined in the Kanchi Krishna Educational Trust, is to impart quality higher education, so as to make the ‘New Generation’ face the new challenges of the ever changing society. The college provides Bachelor Degree and Master Degree to the college students.

Special care is taken to offer remedial classes for the advantage of slow learners.
Kanchi Shri Krishna College of Arts and Science - Kanchipuram library is located in a large hall where more than 25,000 books from various engineering disciplines are stacked. Reference books are kept separately. The seating is made in such a way that the access to the library is easy or students and teaching staff. There are 250 journals. They are National and International journals. In addition few Magazines, Educational cassettes, VCD and DVD-200 are also available.
Kanchi Shri Krishna College of Arts and Science - Kanchipuram has a well-furnished modern Canteen Tasty, hygienic and delicious food for breakfast and lunch is provided in unlimited quantity at nominal cost. Tea, coffee, confectionaries and soft drinks are available all through the day for students, staff and visitors. For hostel students the menu is designed to include eggs and non-veg (for non-veg students) in the food. Fresh fruits, milk and nutritious snacks are given besides regular menu.
Physical Education Department of Kanchi Shri Krishna College of Arts and Science - Kanchipuram is well equipped with the following facilities. Currently the Department provides facilities for indoor and outdoor Games. Materials needed for sports and Games are also added every year by new purchase. Moreover, facilities for Athletics are also there. Women students evince keen interest in Sports and Games. They take part in all track events and Games. They are encouraged by the Physical Director and the tutors to take part in the events.
