Karpagam Nursing College - Coimbatore was established in the year 2007 under Karpagam Charity Trust to develop good service oriented nurses for providing holistic care with professional competency wherever required. On 01.09.09 students celebrated Onam festival in Karpagam Nursing College - Coimbatore . They had presented cultural programs and competitions were held. Students and faculty jointly had "Onam Sadhya". On Mental Health Day 10.10.09 to create awareness on mental health I yr and II yr students of Karpagam Nursing College participated in a human chain organized by "Mananala Vazhikatti Foundation" accompanied by faculty.
Kovai Diabetic Centre and Hospital had organized a diabetic camp to mark the world diabetes day from 11.11.09 to 14.11.09. Karpagam Nursing College - Coimbatore SNA volunteers 17 students from II year B.Sc Nursing and a nursing faculty participated in the diabetic camp. The camp was inaugurated by Thiru.Umanath, Distrct Collector, Coimbatore and Thiru Palanisamy, General Manager IOB addressed the gathering. Students volunteered in various stalls like sweet stall, diet stall, foot care stall and stall on latest information about diabetes and its management. Students are participated in rally organized by Kovai Diabetic Specialty Centre on 14.11.09 to create awareness among public regarding diabetes.
