The College is managed by the St.Joseph’s Monastery, Mannanam, the Mother House of CMI Congregation and comes under the purview of the chapter and the education Committee of the Monastery. Kuriakose Elias College – K E College Kottayam is named after our heavenly Patron, Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the Co-founder of the Congregation of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI), is our source of inspiration. Holy Family Hostel run by the Carmelite nuns, also renders hostel facilities to a good number of our girl students. The St. Joseph's Hostel run by the St. Joseph's Training College accommodates a good number of boys.
