The Library of Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering – MPSTME Shirpur, was established in 2007 and it is one of the first three departments started in the Institute. It is regarded as one of the best scientific and technical libraries in India. The Library will be moved to the future premises in January 2011 and is been renamed as ‘Mukesh R Patel Central Library, Shirpur’. It is no exaggeration to state that the Mukesh R Patel Central Library is the largest and finest of its kind in this part of the world. The primary mission of Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering – MPSTME Shirpur library is to support the educational and research programs of the institute by providing physical and intellectual access to information, consistent with the present and the anticipated educational and research functions of the institute. In accordance with the objectives of the institute, the library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for the faculty and the research community of the institute.
Separate hostel facilities are available for Boys and Girls. Mukesh Patel School of Technology Management and Engineering – MPSTME Shirpur campus hostel has been constructed to provide a safe and congenial atmosphere to the students. Doctors and specialists of this hospital visit the campus everyday between 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm. In emergency the students are transported to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital under the supervision of medical attendant. The state-of-the-art gym and swimming facilities at R.C Patel Gymkhana is helping students for their fitness. Also bank facility at campus extends other services of nationalized banks. Transport facility to Shirpur for boys and girls and strict monitoring by campus administration is prohibiting students from going to wrong places. Hulsurkar and I.T. experts like Dr. O. P. Jain, Head and Principal, Q & C, L&T. All the Departments presently have the twin objectives of delivering useful courses and of carrying out meaningful research. The NMIMS has carried out research works in multi-directional fields within its scope under the sponsorship of several organizations and has helped in solving quite a large number of problems for practicing engineers.
