Nirmala school of Nursing-Shimoga is under the management of St. Charles Medical Society, which was established in 1955 by the Sisters of St.Charles Borromeo. Following the example of Jesus Christ who said, “I have come in order that you might have life, life in all its fullness” (John 10: 10). Nirmala School of Nursing vision is to protect, preserve and promote life through our medical service. The small dispensary started with 10 beds by the dedicated sisters has grown into a 150 bedded hospital with all required facilities.
