It is also registered under Societies Act, 1860 with registration No. MAH-319/88/Nagpur dated 19.5.1988 .Shri Dattaji Meghe is the chairman of SVSS.
Shri Vidyarthi Sudhar Sanghs College of Engineering and Research – SVSS College of Engineering and Research Nagpur has a long history of excellence in all generation of education. This Sanstha was formed with single-minded purpose of developing a network of educational institutes for providing quality education in (in various disciplines of study) Vidharbha, a relatively less developed region in our country. Institutes under the SVSS have exceeded the scope of their vision and become the yardstick for other institutions to match upto. This strength has been developed from outstanding students, dedicated faculty, supporting employees and unflinching and genuine commitment to students and strong desire to contribute to the nation.
The total student strength of Shri Vidyarthi Sudhar Sanghs College of Engineering and Research – SVSS College of Engineering and Research Nagpur as on date is nothing less than 2500 approximately. School of Scholars is the first ISO certified school in Central India. A fleet of 20 buses caters to the transportation of all the students. Besides academics, swimming, adventure sports along with rifle shooting and archery etc are the main sports on which stress is laid. Various schools and colleges under the SVSS work in union for the betterment of every student.

Computing Facilities are available for Shri Vidyarthi Sudhar Sanghs College of Engineering and Research – SVSS College of Engineering and Research Nagpur students at Computer Centre having 60 Computer terminals of Pentium-4, Dual Core E 2.2 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD and 19" TFT screens (DELL make) with LAN and Wireless Computing Facilities. Two System Softwares are available i.e. Window XP, Window Vista-Business Edition and Four Application Softwares i.e. E-trust, M.S. Office, Customer, Library Automation, Customized software for purchase & Central Store, Turbo C, C++, MSDNAA.
Excellent Internet surfing facility is provided to the Shri Vidyarthi Sudhar Sanghs College of Engineering and Research – SVSS College of Engineering and Research Nagpur students and staff from Reliance Broad Band with a speed of 6 MBPS available 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. This helps student to interact with their counter parts anywhere concerning their project, technical paper presentation and research works. The students can also keep themselves abreast of the fast changing technologies.
Language laboratory has been developed by the Shri Vidyarthi Sudhar Sanghs College of Engineering and Research – SVSS College of Engineering and Research Nagpur to facilitate sharpening of communication skills in English outside the classroom. The computers are provided with earphones so that students especially from rural areas who are generally weak in English can take sufficient ear training in the language lab. The Lab also offers facilities to learn 51 Foreign Languages.
Shri Vidyarthi Sudhar Sanghs College of Engineering and Research – SVSS College of Engineering and Research Nagpur library is fully computerized with facilities like open stack areas, individual study tables, reference book section, e-journal section etc. The library is well equipped and spacious with 1608 titles of books and 5754 volumes. The library has annual subscription of twenty four National Journals and nine International Journals. Also there is Digital Library Facility and Computerized OPAC system in Library with automation through bar coding of books. The library staff aims to organize programs for students about the working process of OPAC, to develop reading habits in the students and to help in their professional development.
In the Shri Vidyarthi Sudhar Sanghs College of Engineering and Research – SVSS College of Engineering and Research Nagpur campus, there is well-maintained hygienic food canteen where a variety of south and north Indian dishes are offered at reasonable rates. SVSS provides facilities and encouragement for every sport activity that students find interest in. Indoor auditorium cum sports facility for extracurricular activities are also provided in the campus.

All types of banking services are provided to the staff and the students by the Branch of the Tirupati Urban Cooperative Bank located in the premises of the Shri Vidyarthi Sudhar Sanghs College of Engineering and Research – SVSS College of Engineering and Research Nagpur .
