Windsor Guildhall is the
Civic Center listed Grade 1 building located in
Windsor town, in the English
County of Berkshire. Guildhall was constructed under the supervision of
Sir Thomas Fitz in the year 1687 and after his death Sir
Christopher Wren undertook the work and completed the task. It is said that the Windsor Guildhall had incurred an approximate cost of GBP 2700.
The building have been restored and extended.It was reopened for
Festival of Britain by Princess
Elizabeth after its restoration. The Guild hall have been used for commercial and administrative purposes. The office of the Mayors and town councilors occupy their office inside the building. Guildhall also, has been used as court rooms as the Mayor has a dual role of Chief Magistrate of the borough.

There is an advantage of viewing the rooms prior to bookings. Weddings and civil partnership ceremonies are charged at GBP 340 per hour .Guidhall is also available for commercial use and the same is priced at GBP 285 per hour.
Windsor Guildhall stands as a national historic landmark and the latest addition in the new premises of Guildhall is the Royal Borough Museum dedicated on 12 March, 2011.
