Alan Stockdale is a well known Australian politician. He is associated with Liberal Party of Australia. He was born on 21 April 1945 and his full name is Alan Robert Stockdale. Alan Stockdale pursued his education from University of Melbourne and earned an LL.B and B.A. degree from the university. He served as the Member of the Victorian Parliament for Brighton from 2 March 1985 – 17 September 1999. He also serves as the President of the Liberal Party of Australia since 19 February, 2008. Alan Stockdale was also the Treasurer of Victoria from 6 October 1992 – 7 October 1999.
