Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College – Mangalore is a unit of Fr. Muller's Charitable Institutions, a Registered Society sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Mangalore; a Religious Minority Educational Institution established primarily for the benefit of the members of the Christian Community. In the year 1980, Father Muller Charitable Institution celebrated its centenary and to commemorate this event a decision was taken to start a Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital. After a thorough study Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College – Mangalore was actually started in the year 1985 to conduct BHMS course. Now the College has been recognized for M.D. (Hom) course by C.C.H. & R.G.U.H.S. in seven subject. Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College – Mangalore has completed 24 years of its successful and meaningful existence in the field of Homoeopathic Education and Practice. The students who pass out from this college have been much sought after professionals both in the practice and education by Homoeopathic Institutions in the country.

Set in serene and picturesque surroundings, Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College – Mangalore hostels provide an appropriate ambience for the students to study and grow as individuals. 230 girs and 96 boys are residing at the hostel. Accommodation and mess facilities are provided at reasonable rates. Adequate outdoor and indoor sports facilities are available for the recreation of the students. Hostels also have a Prayer hall, Library and a T.V. Room for the inmates. The inmates are looked after with love and care inculcating good values making the hostels truely "home away from home". A new block of the Ladies hostel is under constructions. Separate hostel facilities are provided for the P.G. students at Kankanady.

Our Botanical Garden contains more than 300 varieties of medicinal plants which a student can easily identify and upgrade his knowledge of pharmacy. It is one of the richest source of a study material for a student , instead of identifying a medicinal plant by picture, he can directly see and feel it so that his knowledge of the medicinal source will improve.
