Karim City College – KCC Jamshedpur was established in 1961 by our Founder Father Late Syed Tafazzul Karim with a view to impart education to the weaker section of Jamshedpur especially Muslims, Karim City College has now become a premier educational institution of eastern India. After the sad demise of our founder his son Late S.M. Shafiq patronized the institution with his leading from the front attitude. His death in 1992 created a void which was successfully and graciously filled by our present trustee Mr. Syed Ashfaque Karim whose modern and progressive approach is taking the college to greater heights.

To utilize such opportunities at the optimum level, the college has a fully fledged placement cell working under a dedicated placement in charge supported by three faculties, which tries its level best to ensure the participation of our students in campus selection and interviews etc. Every year a large number of campus selection programmes were held through which our students are selected for different multi National Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, ICICI, Genpact, HSBC etc. For the last five years 322 Students were selected for different Multi National Companies in the campus selection held in the college.
