PSGR Krishnammal College for Women – Coimbatore was established on 28th June 1963, by Sri. G. R. Govindarajulu and Smt. G. Chandrakanthi. It was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister of Tamilnadu, Sri.Bakthavatchalam. It caters to the needs of women in higher education. The College is autonomous, ISO 9001:2000 certified and Re-accredited with A GRADE by NAAC (National Accreditation and Assessment Council). The vision of the

The teaching faculties of PSGR Krishnammal College for Women – Coimbatore participate in Seminars, Symposium and Conferences and present about 100 papers annually. Accommodation with nutritious food, vegetarian and non–vegetarian, is provided to nearly 1000 students. Buses ply to and from the hostel in the mornings and in the evenings, providing transport facilities for the residents.
