Bappi Lahiri whose birth name is Alokesh Lahiri is an Indian Music director, Singer, Actor and Producer. He was born on November 27, 1952 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Bappi Lahiri's career started in 1973 when he composed music for the film Nanha Shikari. He rose to fame in 1975 with the movie Zakhmee, for which he composed music and doubled as a playback singer.
