Dr. Eduardo P. Banzon is the Regional Adviser for Health Economics and Financing of the WHO-EMRO (World Health Organization, Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean Region). Previously he served as Health Economist of WHO-Bangladesh. Dr. Eduardo P. Banzon is the former President and CEO of the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth). He has also worked as a community health physician and community organizer with the Philippine Rural Reconstruction Movement. Dr. Eduardo P. Banzon has pursued his education from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
