After establishing its credentials through academic excellence in Pharmacy education during the past 24 years, Gayatri College of Pharmacy materialized the concept of Gayatri Group of Institutions by establishing a wing of Management studies to conduct the MBA program with the approval of AICTE. Gayatri College of Management – GCM Sambalpurowes its origin to the visionary thoughts of Prof. Ashok Kumar Satpathy, the moving spirit and the Founder Director of the Gayatri Group of Institutions with the blessings of Sri Shiv Narayan Satpathy, the Secretary, founder and father figure of the group who had dreamt of an educational conglomerate long back. The strong support of the Managing Committee headed by Mr Durga Shankar Patnaik as the Chairman has made the dream come true.
The Gayatri Group of Institutions has ventured in to the field of Management by setting up a wing of management education MBA a two year full time post graduate degree under the BPUT University, Orissa with due approval of AICTE, New Delhi. It comprises of international and national journals. The reference section has a rich collection of latest reference books and other publications. A collection of CDs, cassettes, manuals, slides and soft ware’s are also available for the students and teachers. Hostel facility of Gayatri College of Management – GCM Sambalpur comprises two well furnished Boys' Hostel and one Girls' Hostel within the City. As students are joining from the different parts of India, the institution maintains an interstate cordial relationship among the inmates under constant supervision and strict principles. The hostel mess is managed by a student representative committee.

The Computer Lab. is fully air-conditioned.
