KB Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research – KBIPER Gandhinagar was established in 1995 by a highly reputed Public Trust of Gujarat State, “The Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Manadal”, which is well known for its yeoman services in the state. Within a short span of 9 years the Institute has come up to a level of the postgraduate and doctorate studies in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. In the forthcoming years we wish to venture into the thrust areas of research in Biotechnology, Biopharmaceutics, molecular pharmacology and combinatorial chemistry. Professional and clinical pharmacy has already stepped in India and we too plan to start the teaching and practice of clinical pharmacy in this part of the country by making a humble beginning at this institute. KB Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research – KBIPER Gandhinagar has also taken a lead in the area of continuing education for teachers and professional scientists.

KB Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research – KBIPER Gandhinagar is located in GH/6, Sector-23, KBIPER Gandhinagar, Gujarat.KB Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research – KBIPER Gandhinagar offers the four year Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) and two year Master in Pharmacy (M.Pharm.) in Pharmacology specialization, Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical sciences programmes. The institute admits 60 students for B.Pharm. and 10 for M.Pharm. every year and 7 for Ph.D. at any given instance. The bachelors and masters programmes follow a well defined curriculum in theoretical and practical aspects of pharmaceutical sciences according to the norms and standards of the All India Council of Technical Education. The institute has recently been granted a status of constituent college of Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya a state university formed by state government resolution date 22-5-07.

Students are monitored by the women faculty in the hostel who are always available to clarify the doubts of the girl students. The hostel for the boys is provided near the campus on the same road. The students are provided with Internet, Gym and other recreation facilities. The faculties and warden are always available to help and monitor the students. Both the hostels are designed keeping in mind hygiene point of view.
